Credobus' first 100% electric drive bus family. A top-of-the-range Hungarian product.
Overview
- Ultralight
Electronells are considered the lightest steel-framed e-buses in their category. The 19.5" chassis configuration of the articulated version is unique in the world.
- Less batteries
Thanks to lower energy consumption, Electronell models achieve a range of 300 km with up to 25% less battery capacity. Fewer batteries: more economical and greener operation.
- Made in Hungary
A high value-added product manufactured in Mosonmagyaróvár and Győr by the Kravtex-Kühne Group. With the participation of nearly 500 employees and 100 domestic manufacturing partners.

The Electronell family
The 100% electric drive Electronell models are produced in 12-meter solo and 18-meter articulated versions, in urban and suburban design. Together with the diesel Econell Next models, they form the most complex Hungarian bus family.
Two-tone painting
The island-like arrangement of the base paint units makes the Electronell look even more dynamic. The black inserts look good in combination with almost any base color.
Frameless sliding windows
Sliding windows with frames that are invisible from the outside give the large glass surfaces a uniform appearance.
Asymmetrical wheel arches
Geometric shapes bordered by sharp corners are an integral part of the design language of the Next model generation.
Aerodynamic front coverage
The three-part front coverage also draws from the Credobus's design traditions, which is not only aesthetic but also contributes to reducing air resistance.
Integrated roof plane
The cladding elements surrounding the roof conceal the auxiliary systems and provide a uniform appearance for the members of the model family regardless of the drive mode.
The lightest steel-framed e-buses
Electronells are the lightest steel-framed e-buses in their category. Depending on the version, their weight is 2-4 tons lower than their competitors, which results in unparalleled efficiency. The 19.5" axle configuration of the articulated version is unique in the world.

*Solo version net weight: approx. 11 tons, market average: 13-13.8 tons. Articulated version net weight: approx. 16 tons, market average: 20-21 tons.

Less batteries, same range
The ultra-light Electronells have significantly lower energy consumption, requiring up to 25% fewer batteries for the same range. The range of over 300 kilometers is sufficient for almost all traffic tasks in the urban-suburban category.

Less is more from batteries
Each battery pack weighs 600 kg and costs tens of thousands of euros. It is no coincidence that we say that when it comes to batteries, less is more.
The ultralight Electronells achieve a range of 300 km with 1 (solo) or 2 (articulated) fewer batteries. The smaller battery capacity offers a number of technical advantages and overall provides best-in-class life cycle costs.
DOWN↓ with batteries
Thanks to the Low Entry design, 2 out of 3 batteries (2 out of 4 in the articulated model) are located under the floor, which ensures a low center of gravity and therefore excellent stability, especially when cornering.

Articulated: 392 kWh
Solo: 294 kWh
Premium components
Credobus uses only proven, premium quality, mostly European branded components for its electric buses. Its own high-voltage distribution system (Credobus HVBOX) and drive control software allow for the free selection and optimization of the main components.

Low Entry without compromise
Electronells are barrier-free like low-floor (LF) buses, but at the same time offer more seating due to their layout. The passenger compartment features a new generation of services familiar from the Next family, which meet the highest expectations.

Ideal working environment
Credobus's in-house developed driver environment takes the ergonomic expectations of drivers into account to a large extent. In addition to the practical storage system, such sophisticated details as the light-colored cover that prevents the dashboard from heating up also contribute to comfort.
Comfort

All-day comfort
Ample space, impeccable ergonomics, excellent visibility and a range of practical solutions. Finding the right settings is a given in the Electronell driving environment. The wide-adjustable leather-covered multi-function steering wheel and the top-class driver's seat with lumbar support ensure comfortable working even over long periods. Thanks to the diverse storage solutions, everything has its place.
Virtual dashboard

All information is available
Spectacular 12.3” central display, controlled from the multi-steering wheel, integrated into the Continental KIBES system. The user interface, which can be adapted to the vehicle design and application, even allows for direct display of the reversing camera image (in a version without a separate monitor). Adaptive brightness ensures excellent readability even in extreme lighting conditions.
Electronic parking brake (EPH)

Automated fixing
With the electronically operated parking brake (EPH), starting and stopping is as safe and comfortable as with a car equipped with an automatic transmission. The system provides protection against accidental rolling, is widely programmable and is operated with a discreet, illuminated switch.
Full LED lighting

Seeing clearly is safety itself
All exterior and interior lighting features energy-saving LED technology, including the fog lights. The circular headlights display the daytime running lights and turn signal functions with spectacular light rings. The rain and light sensors automatically switch the lights on and off according to the visual conditions.
GSR II compliance
With radar and camera-based integrated driver assistance systems, Electronells meet the stricter requirements of the European Union's General Vehicle Safety Regulation (GSR II) and even provide safety and comfort services that go beyond them.

The system - using real-time object identification - warns the driver with an acoustic and visual signal of a pedestrian/cyclist in the blind spot in front of the vehicle (under the windshield).
The system detects cyclists/pedestrians on the right side of the vehicle and warns the driver with a light signal. Depending on the risk, it indicates in red or yellow.
It is the same solution as the well-known reversing camera, which visually reveals the space behind the vehicle.
The camera-based speed limit recognition system displays the current speed limit and warns the driver if necessary. It also handles location-specific restrictions by using GPS data.
The system informs the driver of tire pressure loss and temperature changes via the dashboard. It is capable of detecting both slow pressure loss and puncture-like events. Eliminating the need for regular pressure checks relieves the crew while supporting fuel efficiency.
In the event of heavy braking, the rear lights flash to warn those behind the vehicle.
The system detects unusual driving behavior caused by drowsiness or reduced attention based on, among other things, steering and driving hours. In case of risky patterns (e.g. fewer directional corrections, long continuous driving times), it recommends the driver to take a break.
Compliance with UNECE R155.00 (cybersecurity and cybersecurity management system) and R156.00 (software update and software update management system), the primary objective of which is to protect vehicle communication networks against intrusion.
The facial recognition camera-based system monitors the driver's facial expressions, eye movements, and unwanted activities (e.g. smoking, phone calls), and sends a signal in the event of distraction.
It collects and records data generated in the vehicle in unexpected situations (e.g. collisions). The data recording contributes to the subsequent reconstruction of accidents and thus to the future improvement of vehicle safety.
Warns of the risk of rear-end collisions or potential collisions with pedestrians/cyclists. The driver can prevent the collision by increasing the braking force.
It warns the driver if they unintentionally cross a lane or stop line (without using a turn signal).
When changing lanes, it warns the driver of vehicles driving next to the bus (on both sides).
The camera-based system automatically operates the headlights based on the amount of incoming light, preventing blinding oncoming traffic.
